Clethodim is a new type of post-emergence herbicide for upland fields and a cyclohexenone systemic conduction stem and leaf treatment agent. It controls annual and perennial grass weeds by being rapidly absorbed through the leaves and transmitted to meristematic tissue, inhibiting fatty acid synthesis in plants. Weeds stop growing 3–5 days after application, turn yellow within 1–3 weeks, and eventually dry up and die.

Clethodim is suitable for pears, peaches, watermelons, strawberries, beans, grapes, citrus, apples, pineapples, soybeans, rape, cotton, tobacco, sugar beets, peanuts, flax, sweet potatoes, safflower, oil palm, celery, leeks, lettuce, onion, pepper, tomato, spinach, garlic, radish, pumpkin, cucumber, carrot, potato, sunflower, alfalfa, white clover, and more.

Note: Clethodim cannot be used in barley, wheat, corn, rice, sorghum, and other gramineous crops.

Clethodim is primarily used to control annual and perennial grass weeds, with little or no activity on dicotyledons and sedges. It effectively manages weeds such as red rice, poisonous wheat, wild sorghum, false sorghum, wild millet, foxtail, golden foxtail, barnyardgrass, crabgrass, bluegrass, goosegrass, reeds, and Polygonum.

1. Clethodim is low-toxic but slightly irritating to eyes and skin. Wear goggles, masks, gloves, and protective clothing during use.
2. During hot summer months, apply in the evening for better absorption and efficacy.
3. Rainfall one hour after application does not affect performance.
4. Follow recommended dosages and avoid drift to sensitive crops.
