When we saw how our oceans were clogging up with waste that shouldn’t be there — and nobody was responsible for it — we knew a new approach was needed. Sengong’s name combines ‘Sen’ (forest) and ‘Gong’ (industry), meaning ‘a material industry designed to work with the forest’.
We’re not here to start a material revolution. Instead, we focus on practical, user-driven solutions. Consumers value convenience and may not recycle consistently. That’s why we’ve evolved biodegradable PVA into an affordable, accessible, and scalable solution.
PVA isn’t new — it’s been around since 1912. But it was expensive. We’ve made it cost-effective, recyclable, reusable, and fully biodegradable without relying on food-based resources like corn.
